Ya, I noticed that too. But the part when the VW does hit Happy really baffles me. Have you ever heard an older VW Bug?? It sounds like a frickin helicopter. Who wouldn't hear one of those flying at you??

You have to remember, Happy got hit in the head earlier in the movie, that is why he cannot hear car engines. He is kind of deaf.
