Mr. Pink hijacks the car during the flashback of his getaway. When he first pulls the woman out of the window of her car, the bag of jewels is on the street next to his feet. He then gets in a minor gunfight with the cops. When the camera goes back to Mr. Pink next to the car, the bag of jewels is gone (presumably in the car because he immediately drives off.)
I noticed this as well. Mr. Pink gets hit by the car, gun in one hand, diamonds in the other. The bag diamonds fall to the ground, along with Pink. Pink gets and up smashes the window and tosses the woman out of her car and she lands about 3 feet from the bag that is clearly on the ground. The camera changes shots as the cops catch up and Pink shoots them up. The camera then returns to the angle where the woman is on the ground, but the bag of diamonds is nowhere to be found. Pink gets in the car and speeds off. At no point could the bag of diamonds made its way into the car.
Yup, this is in fact true. The first time I saw the movie when mr.pink was driving off i was looking through the rear window of the car trying to spot the bag being left on the road behind him. I thought it was going to be a plot in the movie with him getting a bollocking for forgetting it or them attempting to get the bag back. But no the bag magically made it into the car! ha ha.
