Scream 3 - The Amazing Skylight
At the beginning of the film, when the killer has entered the house after Christine, she locks herself in Cotton's office. As she does and she says "Get the hell out of here!", there is a shot at Christine from an angle where you can see the roof above her. The roof has a skylight that isn't seen in any other shot. This is there because of the original way that Cotton was supposed to get killed. Originally, he attempts to climb out the window and gets stabbed doing so.

...hmmm...hard to see the skylight, I think maybe just the angle of the shot is the reason we don't see it again. Also, what does the skylight have to do with him climbing out the window?

I didn't realize my typo until just now. He tries to exit out of the skylight, not the window in the original beginning. The skylight can easily be seen in that one shot and in similar shots where the skylight would appear, it doesn't.
