Miss Congeniality - World Peace
When all of the other girls are telling William Shatner's character that they want world peace, that is when this occurs. When it is Gracie's turn she says, " harsher punishment for parole violators". When she says this she is on his left side. When she is done she says, "thank you" and then she is on his right side. I mean this may be William Shatner but I don't think she was beamed to the other side of him like Star Trek or any thing. What do you think?

Wait! That's just not true! I watched this many times, and she never changes sides. The camera angle didn't even change!

I noticed it, too. At first I thought that it was just b/c she was getting ready to walk away but after awhile I began to think it was a mistake. They looked like they had been standing that way for awhile and there was no indication of a time lapse. To me it was clearly a mistake.

I've watched this movie several times and I noticed that too. She does start out on "Stan's" right side and after she says "thank you" she is on his left side. I also noticed before the girls are set to go on stage through the Statue of Liberty, Kathy Morning-side is trying to open a bottle of pills. She says Steve and then catches herself in mid-sentence to says Steve's character name, Frank.
