In the episode; 'Hungry Hungry Homer', (where Homer goes on a hunger strike), go to the bit near the end where the sign next to Homer says '9 days', and then Homer is replaced by a paint eating freak. soon after, on the same night, the man on the microphone said to Homer: "Congratulations, Homer! You lasted 12 days without any food, how do you feel?"... 12 days? I thought that the sign said 9 days! Maybe there was something happening where the world froze for 3 days and only the guy on the microphone knew about it?
