I can't believe no one's put this yet! When the cells are being raided (and Maximus is escaping), the German gladiator ends up getting shot with arrows and stabbed. You don't even have to look that carefully to see this. When it turns to the arrow shot, you can clearly see two giant pieces of square padding causing the German's shirt to change shape and stick out.
