House On Haunted Hill - Who Did You Invite Again?
When Steven Price is in his office writing up a new guest list, check out the first two names on the list: Mary Seward and Vladamir Tymrak. Later, price says he didn't invite these people, he said he invited the most desperate people who would do anything for money. This is interesting because to invite Mary Seward to the party you would have to travel back about 150 years, AND stop her from murdering her husband. To invite Vladamir Tymrak you would have to travel back into the 16-1700's and stop him from becoming Vlad the Impaler, better known as Dracula.
By the Way: I do realize that there are probably other people named Mary Seward and Vladamir Tymrak, but the chance of their names both being on the same list is slim to nil.

This has something to do with that part...how can the ghost do the guest list when you can see a shadow reflecting off the computer?

I was thinking about that also. At first I thought it was just a coincidence as well, but that IS a little strange that out of the whole 5 people on that list, the top two were these people. Possibly the creator thought it would add a little twist to the plot to have two historical murderers somewhere in the movie (or at least their names). I'm thinking it was simply for effect and nothing more. Good observation. :o)
