I could be sadly mistaken but here goes: If everyone remembers when Memphis is waiting for Sphinx at the pier and Johnny B and his crew jump on Memphis Sphinx blows up their cars. Later when Kip and Memphis are driving in the old Malibu you see the same car and you can really tell this when they get to the malt shop.Color,wheels,and all.Speaking of that do you also notice when Kip takes the cable from the wrecker and wraps it around the rear axle? But notice when the wrecker takes off the cars whole front and the rear wheels are still in place.
