Few Good Men, A - Disappearing Tie Trick
When Col. Jessep is in the court room and has just been placed under arrest, he becomes enraged and tries to go after Lt. Kaffee. As he does so, a semi struggle ensues between him and the MP's, and they are forced to physically restrain him. During the struggle, his tie becomes skewed, and so much so that it almost looks like it's missing. He then backs off and pulls the bottom of his coat to straighten out his uniform, but doesn't touch his tie. Then the camera then switches to a different angle as the next line is spoken, and shazam...without ever being touched, the tie reappears completely neat and straight back in it's normal place. Was it magic, or simply too many multi-angle re-takes?
