In the scene where scarface is Thurgood that he shouldn't have bought the pearl necklace for Mary Jane, keep your eyes on the hands of scarface. You'll notice two things in his hand... a cigarette and a pen. When he goes to take a puff of the cigarette the pen disappears but in the next scene as his hand is dropping back down to the table his pen reappears.
