The Bog of Eternal Stench. Sarah and Hoggle are walking along the narrow ledge. It gives way. Cut to overhead shot. In the middle of the top of the screen you can see the overhead microphone. They lowered it too far.
I think what is seen is actually a piece of the camera's (overhead?) rigging (or something simular), not a boom mic. I'm not so sure that a boom mic (hand held or otherwise) would move exactly in sync with the camera as this object seems to do. It's still an excellent find though. Good eye...who ever you are (Anonymous?).
