Scream - Walking Away from Window When Room Is Upstairs

In the scene where Billy is talking to Sidney and she says how about a PG-13 relationship, after he sees it he starts to walk away from her window while outside....doesn't she have an upstairs room, because the scene where she is running away from the killer she runs upstairs to her room. Why would he be walking away instead of climbing a tree? Could it be she has a deck or balcony? Not likely though.

ScreamQueen writes:: Most houses do have the roof area next to the window where the room is an upstairs room. So, in reality, a person can climb out the window and then walk right out on the roof. If you look at the scene a few scenes later, when Sidney is talking on the phone to Casey while outside, you can probably get a good idea of the house set up to determine that this is indeed the truth.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Possibly when he is walking away from the window, he is again walking on the roof only this time on his way to the tree, not away from it. Yes Sidney's bedroom is on the second story of the house but we later learn, while she is on the phone with Tatum making plans to spend the night, that outside of the window is a deck. Billy could easily have stepped out of the window onto the deck, and then walked down the steps and left. So technically that isn't a mess up.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?

When he left then, he just simply walked away, And she did go up the stairs when she was attacked.
