When Alex is trying to get his mother off to work so he can put his plan in motion, she starts to make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She puts a little jelly on the bread, camera cuts to something else and then comes back to the counter showing the jelly on the bread has already been spread and Alex spreads it a little more.
