I noticed this too. The artist must have done the work on the Return of the Jedi movie poster too, because on the poster Vaders is blue and Luke's is red. Weird, huh?

this was in fact a slipup on the origional poster for "Revenge of the Jedi" and was incidentally continued for comical reasons.
