In the recreation of the Battle of Carthage, the chariots are taken over by the gladiators in the ring. The black gladiator rushes over to a crossbowman and kills him by smashing the metal spike on the top of his helmet in the crossbowman's throat. However, if you look very closely, you can see the rubber spike sway back and forth as the black man rushes over. It wasn't metal after all!
