If you have the DVD @ 2:24:00 begin watching.
The scene after the successful mission, when the astronauts get off the shuttle onto the tarmac.
Just before you see Liv Tyler running to Ben Affleck, you see the guys strutting down the tarmac, but what happened to the shuttle? It should be huge and still behind them considering they landed on the middle of the tarmac and the direction they were walking towards was facing straight towards the shuttle..

I noticed this too. Just after the crew slides down the emergency chute, the camera cuts to a shot of all of the emergency personnel walking down the runway toward the crew. It then cuts back to a shot from underneath the shuttle (the under carriage and landing gear are cleary visible) showinh the crew from behind walking away from the shuttle. The camera then cuts immediately to a shot of the crew from the front walking toward the camera, but there's nothing behind them now but empty runway. The shuttle is no where to be seen.
