Gladiator - Dyed Hair in Ancient Rome?
Before the battle of Carthage when that guys talk the camera will pass over some heads. There's a girl there with (obviously fake) blonde streaks in her hair. I never knew the Romans dyed their hair.

You can bleach your hair by putting lemon juice on it, then hanging out in the sun. I assume they had lemons.
