All that means is that there is a tornado about to happen ...the sky becomes a grayish-green color, kinda like when theres a thunder storm and you know its happening cause the sky is gray...know what I mean?

'Goin Green' When the sky turns green, it means the clouds are loaded with hail, just how the light reflects off it makes it green, usually an indicator that its time to get under something, and it's sometimes a prelude to a tornado.. i've seen it a couple of times, it freaked me out fairly quickly.

I don't know what you mean by the sky being green, but i assume you are referring to a computer-enhanced weather image. If so, the instruments they were using were fairly accurate and probably picked up something that they couldn't see just by looking outside.
