Forrest Gump - Where Did She Go?
During the scene when Forrest is getting on the bus for his first day of school and he can't find a seat, watch to right before the last boy says "you can't sit here" and look to the right where Jenny is sitting. Right behind Jenny there are two kids sitting and the one closest to the window is a girl in a blue dress. Now watch when Jenny says Forrest can sit with him, and he stares at her. The seat behind Jenny is empty! Now look again when Forrest sits down, the girl is behind him again. Where exactly did she run off to for that 30 some seconds?

Haven't you ever seen a movie where two people see each other from across a crowded room, and everyone else just disappears? This is just added drama showing that Forrest fell in love with Jenny at first sight. Everyone else on the bus disappeared to Forrest when he saw Jenny for the first time and fell in love with her.

When it goes to the shot where you say there is no one in the seat, there is clearly someone there. In this shot, the girl which later shows up by the window is over a bit so in that shot, you just see a little bit of her shoulder. The next shot shows her right by the window with another girl beside her. Either way, still a slip up.

There is a possibility that the "extra" used for that scene was missing from that part, but you also have to consider this: When you were a kid riding the bus did you always sit up perfectly straight in your seat for the entire ride? Most likely not. The girl could have been bent over picking something up off the floor in front of her or slouching down in her seat.

This definately could be a slouch. Obviously, if you think not, you haven't ridden a bus in the past couple years, but it definately is possible.

You can see her arm and her shoulder with blue dress. The one that is really missing is the little boy directly behind young Forest while he talks to Jenny.

No this was definitely not a slouch, no one can slouch that far without laying down.
