He's stating the difference between fish and humans: the ability to walk on two legs. The first human to walk on two legs, upright, was homo-erectus. The word defined by "walking upright" is homo-erectus.

well, if you want to be really picky, mr smartypants, home sapiens are also extinct and have been for about 40,000 years. we are known as homo sapiens sapiens
