During chapter 9. Starting at 47min. 47sec. to 47min. 51sec. The Nazi shield takes one of the Americans right off the deck of the sub killing him. The shield came off the American sub across from them. The one Bill Paxton was Captain of. The shield as you no was put on earlier when they unvalled it. The problem is after the shield fly's off. They cut to a scene of the American sub in flames. Look closely. WHOOP's there's that shield again. Right where it was when it was unvalled.

First off, that wasn't the shield that blew off into that guy, it was a cover hatch for the S-33. You can tell just by watching the movie. When they unveil the shield, you can see that it's not very big. Now when you watch the scene where S-33 is blown up, you can see that whatever it was that hit the guy standing up, it was as big as his whole upper body. Next time look more closely.
