Friends - Wrong Leg
In the episode where Rachel's father visits, Ross and him both make fun of Rachel for going to the chiropractor Dr. Bobby. Rachel claims that she has bad alignment and that her right leg is two and a half inches shorter than her left leg. Then she stands still and leans to one side. However, instead of leaning the correct way, to her right, she leans to her left.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about the supposed length of Rachel's leg. I could accept it if her legs were maybe a centimeter off, but TWO INCHES? I think that would be pretty obvious considering that she would go up and down when she walked. You would definately be able to see a difference like that by just looking her legs if it existed.

and besides... if she said that her RIGHT leg is shorter... then if she leaned on to her LEFT leg, it would cause her RIGHT leg to go "up" making it look 2 INCHES SHORTER! duh!

You all have it wrong. Let's all stand up for a second and exaggerate. Our right leg is a foot or two shorter (a.k.a, only exists from the knee up). Now, if you were to try to stand with both legs touching the ground (standing with your left foot and right knee), you would lean to the right. Therefore, if Phoebe's right leg was shorter, she would lean to the right.

if her right leg was 2 inches shorter, then when she is standing, she would be leaning to the right because that side is shorter... get it?
