Britney Spear's video - "Stronger" Video

When the part comes on where Britney is driving and she screeches to a stop as the chair appears in front of the Mustang (toward the end of the video), watch as she slams on the "brake." What she actually slams on is the accelerator.

crawford writes:: Actually I don't think that's the clutch either. Just because it's a Mustang doesn't mean that it's a stick shift, they made automatics too. And if it was the clutch the break should have been right beside it. Also, she should have hit both the brake and clutch to stop, if you just press in the clutch, you would keep on going.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?

Blondie86904 writes:: Actually, it is most likely that the Mustang was a standard. If you hit the brakes, your car will stop it will just cause the engine to stall. If something, like a chair, just popped into the middle of the road I'm sure you'd probably just hit the brake. It's a natural reaction for most people. So, it's not a slip-up. Makeitblue writes:: Just to add more evidence that the car she was driving was indeed a manual transmission, there is a scene in the video where she shifts. The car was already moving when she uses the shift, so I'm assuming she was changing gears and not putting the car into "Drive".; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?
