The~Sinister~One writes:: i agree to this too... how can you talk about the rocket taking off - burning ppl to crisp when they are suspended on a metal platform meters from the lava... they would at least be sweating like pigs on a barbecue, not to mention just burning on the spot... wouldnt that interferrance have awoken the volcano??? -> THIS IS A SPOOF MOVIE <- which (to those of you who didnt know) means that it is taking the p*** out of spy films... maybe the creators saw that the rocket/lava slip-up was funny... and decided to put it in purposely; 11 of 15 people found this comment helpful. Smitty writes:: Yeah, in the scene where the Apollo 11 rocket takes off, the guy closes the hatch, and the rocket takes off 5 seconds later. There is an elevator that the guy would have to have taken, which rides for more than 5 seconds. He would have been crispy; 1 of 2 people found this comment helpful. Did you?
